The painting above by Jeffrey Dennis caught my eye by the fact that the images look like they have been collaged in and are part of the artwork even though they contrast quite a bit with the pink background of the artwork. This piece is part of a collection of works which often fall under the name Ring binder. Jeffrey Dennis work has seen themes emerged which link to peoples daily movements, in-habitation, and experiences. When looking at the paintings there are hints to structures within the work such as pipes which make the viewer’s eye travel the painting but then it always brings you back to the center of the work.
