Pall: Ixion oil & wax on linen 1987 213.8 x 98 cm
His work is quite diverse but the pieces that mostly stand out to me are the ones that are quite dark and the lines are painted/drawn quite loosely and if you look at the image above it looks like he has let the material drip down the linen giving a less methodical feel even though the person in the middle is quite clearly in the piece. There is slight colour added but it is mostly dark which creates questions as to why he has added red and the effect it has on the work as it makes it seem like the figure has been harmed.
