Nude in the Studio – Oil paint on canvas, wood, gesso and glass 2004 – 1460 x 1160 x 71 mm
I found ‘Nude in the Studio’ quite striking in the way of how dark and gloomy it seems just from the choice of colour pallet compared to his other works. The work is also quite bust and so the more that you look at the work the more you see, the face has also got some features to it but the features are not there completely. The lines that have been made to look like they could have been scraped into the paint but I think the lines have been put on top rather than carved in.
